We would like to inform you that the Vehicle Carrier Safety Forum (VCSF) has published the "Fire Drill Guidelines for Vehicle Carrying Vessels" (Version 1.0 June 2026).

Complementing the "Fire Response – High Level Guidelines" introduced in Japan P&I News No.1310 dated 20 June 2025, these guidelines provide vessel operators with a practical framework for developing and conducting realistic, scenario-based fire response drills on board vehicle carrying vessels. They outline essential practices to support fire preparedness and the safe operation of vehicle carrying vessels.
