As per the notice issued by China Ministry of Transport on 2 December 2015, ships berthing at all ports within 3 ECAs (Bohai-rim Waters ECA, Yangtze River Delta ECA & Pearl River Delta ECA) are required to use fuel with sulphur contents of lower than 0.5% m/m as from 1 January 2018.
