Chinese Waters – Navigation warning after the fishing season starts
The Association has received the attached circular from Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd., our correspondent in China, on the captioned matter.
According to the circular, collision incident with fishing boats highly occur in Chinese waters in every period between August and October, for which the summer fishing ban period comes to end and the fishing season starts.
All navigating vessels in these areas should sail cautiously and take measures to avoid collision with fishing boats in accordance with the attached circular.
