Please be advised that the Port State Control’s Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) by Paris and Tokyo MOUs from 1 September to 30 November 2026.

The purpose of the campaign is to collect data on compliance with current SOLAS requirements in respect of the loading, stowage and securing of cargo units and cargo transport units. Please refer to the joint Press Release from Paris MOU and Tokyo MOU for more details and the questionnaire.

When stowing and securing cargo, the vessel’s Cargo Securing Manual (CSM) must be strictly complied with. The CSM is developed based on the Code of Safe Practice for Cargo Stowage and Securing (CSS Code) adopted by the IMO.
