We have obtained information from our China correspondent, Huatai Insurance Agency & Consultant Service Ltd., regarding the "Notice on Strengthening the Prevention of Collisions between Merchant Ships and Fishing Vessels in Coastal Waters of China" issued by the China Maritime Safety Administration (China MSA).

The Notice provides special supplementary provisions addressing navigation safety for merchant ships and fishing vessels in coastal waters of China during the spring fishing season, during which collision risks are expected to increase significantly.
