【Members Only】Call for Participants: “Welding Safety Loss Prevention Training for Engine Crew” to be Held in the Philippines
To the Members
As part of our member services, the Japan P&I Club is pleased to announce the "Welding Safety Loss Prevention Training", aimed at ensuring safety and preventing accidents during on-board welding operations.
Building upon the existing expertise and technical skills of engine crew members, this training aims to further strengthen a culture of safety and help participants to strive to become key leaders in maintaining safety on board. To provide practical and high-value support to our Members, we have partnered with Magsaysay Training Center, a pioneer in maritime education in the Philippines.
Over a 2-day curriculum combining classroom lectures, practical exercises, and case studies, participants will have the opportunity to re-examine risk identification and reinforce preventive measures against unsafe acts using practical scenarios.
The training will be held in Cavite, Philippines, as outlined below. To assist in creating an even safer working environment on board and preventing operational incidents, we encourage you to consider enrolling your crew members.
