On May 19, 2026, a technical seminar hosted by the ClassNK Singapore Office was held in Singapore, where Mr. Yuki Arai, Team Leader of the Underwriting Dept. of the Japan P&I Club, was invited to speak as a guest lecturer.

The presentation focused on insurance cover for war risks related to the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Almost 160 people attended the event. In the reception after this seminar, we received highly favourable feedback from participants who commented that "It was a highly informative session on a very timely topic," and "The presentation included new information that I was not aware of, making it extremely interesting."
