On June 30, 2015, the P5+1 (China, France, Germany, Russia, UK and USA) and Iran decided by mutual consent to extend the Joint Plan of Action (JPOA) for seven days in order to continue negotiations to reach a comprehensive solution.  Accordingly, the State and Treasury Departments issued the attached Guidance on the continuation of sanctions relief, and have announced that the sanctions relief provided on 25 November, 2014 are extended through 7 July, 2015.

The categories of relief and the type and extent of sanctions relief provided under the JPOA remain unchanged.
