North Korea Jamming GPS Signals Near The Korean Border

We have obtained the following information on the captioned topic by marine surveyors in Korea, SPARKINTERNATIONAL.  Media said several tens of vessels were affected by the jamming activity, although no significant accident or damage has been reported.

Dear All,

Please be advised that North Korea is jamming GPS signals near the border with increased jamming activity observed in the recent days.

As this can affect the Member’s vessels entering Korean waters/ports, it would be recommendable to warn the Members to be cautious when entering Korean waters near the border.

We will carefully watch the development and will let you know of any updates/changes. Do not hesitate to contact us, should you require further information/assistance.
