The Safer Marine Terminal of the Ras Isa port has still been closed and not operating since 21 June.

5. Entry permission to the Yemen territorial water

Any vessels calling Yemen ports should obtain entry permission from the Ministry of Transport through the ship agents or receivers.  An official order has been issued by the Yemen Government to request the naval forces of the Saudi Arabian coalition to stop all vessels calling Yemen ports for compulsory inspection.  A few vessels have been arrested by the naval forces of the Saudi Arabian coalition because they had no entry permission.  Please bear in mind that vessels will be allowed to enter the Yemen territorial waters only after being inspected by the naval forces of the Saudi Arabian coalition.  In order to obtain an entry permission, the attached form should be completed and sent to the Ministry of Transport by e-mail (E-mail address: Yemen.transport@gmail.com).  Once the vessel arrives outside Bab Al-Mandab, the Master should call the naval forces of the Saudi Arabian coalition by VHF on channel 16 for their inspection.

Vessels proceeding to Yemen ports should check the most up-to-date information and entry procedures through the local agents in order to avoid being involved in any trouble.
